  • No permanent discount codes at present, only time-limited promotions

The two drawdown options

With the intraday or trailing drawdown the loss limit moves in real time with your gains. That is more demanding, but opens up greater scaling potential.

With the static drawdown the loss limit stays fixed from the account start. That is considerably easier to manage and the more relaxed option for most traders.

Payouts

Payouts usually take five to seven business days and are considered reliable. Available methods are bank transfer, PayPal, Wise and crypto.

The special case at Apex: on the first 25,000 US dollars paid out you receive 100 instead of 90 percent on larger accounts. That makes the provider more attractive in pure arithmetic for higher profits.

Verdict

Apex is the right choice if you want professional conditions, need flexible drawdown options, trade larger accounts from 100,000 US dollars and value scaling.

The price for that is the highest entry fee in the test field. If you are starting on a small budget or want to avoid the trailing drawdown, one of the cheaper providers will serve you better.

Questions

Frequently asked questions

How does the 100 percent split on the first 25,000 dollars work?

On accounts from 100,000 US dollars you receive 100 instead of 90 percent on the first 25,000 US dollars paid out. After that the regular 90 percent split applies. For larger accounts this noticeably improves the arithmetic.

Can I choose the drawdown type myself?

Yes. You decide at the start between intraday (trailing) and static drawdown. Some traders later run several accounts with different drawdown types in parallel.

How far can I scale my account?

With sustained profits the account can grow from 25,000 to over 300,000 US dollars. Individual traders report scaling beyond 500,000 US dollars.

Which futures can I trade at Apex?

Over 50 CME futures, including ES, NQ, YM, RTY, CL, NG, GC, HG, SI, 6E, 6A, ZB, ZN and ZC — in practice all the common index and commodity futures.
